How to Bluetooth Samsung Gusto 2 with a Mac

1On your Mac go to system preferences / Bluetooth - click to 'turn Bluetooth on'. It may take a minute or so. Also in system preferences click 'Sharing' and check 'bluetooth'

2On the Samsung Gusto 2 Cell Phone: Go to Menu / Settings / Bluetooth

3In the Bluetooth window, choose 'Options': select 'Discovery Mode' Turn 'On', 'Set'

4Now you are back in the Bluetooth window. Click 'Add New Device'. It will give you a message to put your device in discoverable mode. click 'OK'. You have already done that, so it will start 'Searching' and it will find your Mac.

5Now select 'Pair' from the bottom menu on the phone and also from the Mac a 'Pair' option will appear. Select them both. You will notice on the Mac that the SCH-U365 which is the cell phone now says 'connected'. Even if the status becomes not connected, it may still work.


6On the phone, you will now be on the Send page / window. Select 'Send Picture'

7Follow the prompts to mark all or only 1 picture.

8On the Mac a window will appear asking you to accept file transfer of the pictures. Accept.

9To erase all the pictures on the phone, Go to Menu / My Pictures / Options / Manage Pictures / Erase. You will have the option to Mark All and Erase. Follow the prompts and notice options at the bottom of each window for above choices.
